Teacher Tamara Searle Tamara Searle is a performance maker and educator. She has worked as a dancer with The Australian Ballet, as a principal performer in theatre (The Winters Tale, Eleventh Hour Theatre), film (Stiff, The Book of Revelation) and television (Blue Heelers, Russell Coight’s Celebrity Challenge). She was the recipient of a 2007 Asialink Performing Arts award, has undertaken other arts residencies in Spain and Western Australia and received funding from numerous arts bodies to develop her own work. Tamara has taught performance making, acting and movement at Swinburne University - Prahran, Charles Sturt University - Wagga, Chulalongkorn University - Bangkok, St Martins Theatre and Verve Actors Studio. Tamara is the Artistic Director of BoilOver Inclusive Performance Ensemble, and Artistic Associate with Fusion Theatre. Tamara was director’s attachment with Back to Back Theatre on their production Ganesh Versus The Third Reich premiering at MIAF 2011. |
