Is a creative dance program designed specifically for children aged 3 – 5 years. It was developed through extensive research on young children’s development and learning abilities.

In the classes, children are encouraged to use their imagination and expand their creativity. However, this is not just “play “ ballet or dance. Within this structure the basic grounding of ballet and technique is introduced including correct posture and the strengthening of different muscle groups. The children are having so much fun, they don’t realise they have been leering the fundamentals of dance including balance, coordination and agility.

To share the love, magic and wonder of dance, scarves, tiaras, wands, bubbles and musical instruments are used. The use of imagination is also encouraged by providing opportunities for free expressive movement. There is an emphasis on exposing children to many different styles of music including classical music, folk dance, creative tunes and familiar favourites.

Developed by Jane Grech, the Dance Magic program is committed to providing a stimulating and adventurous environment to enhance each child’s social, emotional, physical intellectual and creative growth Students develop rhythm coordination, musicality and creativity as well as the ability to follow directions, interact with peers, take turns patiently and gain self confidence.
